 • In-charge, Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgical program at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. This is probably the only dedicated and comprehensive Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgical program in INDIA.

 • In-charge of Functional Neurosurgical program at Wockhardt Hospital, Mulund, Mumbai and Apollo General Hospital, Chennai.

 • Chronology of various therapies: MD surgeries (1997), Epilepsy surgery (2000), Chronic Pain (2002) and Spasticity (2004). Psychiatric disorders surgical program is to commence April ’09.

• Extensive training in the field of Stereotaxy and Functional Neurosurgery at the most premiere centers in England for a period of four years

 • Further exposure and experience of specific Movement Disorder surgeries in USA Netherlands, Sweden, France and Austria

• Invited as CME speaker to talk on Functional Neurosurgery at the prestigious meetings of Neurological Society of India (NSI) in 1996, 2001,2004 and 2008; Indian Academy of Neurology (2002); Asian society of Stereotactic, Functional and computer assisted neurosurgery (Beijing, 2000, Taiwan 2004, Japan 2006 and Hong Kong 2009); Asian and Pacific Parkinson' disease association meeting in Hong Kong (2001) and Indian society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (1999, 2000, 01,03, 04,05,06 and 07)

 • Conducted workshops in stereotaxy and movement disorders in 1993 (London, England), 2001 (Mumbai, India) and 2001 (Indore, India)

 • Credited with performing many surgeries for the first time in India., e.g. Occipital nerve stimulation for migraine, operating on the oldest patient in the world, implanting dual pacemakers (one for heart other for brain), subthalamic nucleus lesioning, etc.

 • Several publications in the related field in prestigious peer reviewed journals.

• Besides being interviewed by all the leading dailies, magazines and TV networks for his work he has also featured in Reader’s Digest.

• Executive committee member of the Asian Australasian Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, Treasurer- Indian Society of Stereoatactic and Functional Neurosurgery.
